VIRTUAL COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS ACROSS NEW BRUNSWICK AND ONTARIO
Moncton psychotherapy carolina mancipe

Hello! I’m Carolina

I’m a Licensed Counselling Therapist-Candidate with 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I work with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-worth, and other mental health concerns.

My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and focused on helping you get to the root of what’s holding you back. Together, we’ll work to understand your triggers, develop tools to manage them, process difficult emotions, and shift old patterns that no longer serve you. I’ll support you in restoring balance to your nervous system, feeling safer and more present in your daily life, and building a deeper sense of self-worth and self-acceptance.

It is an honour to accompany you on your path to healing and I am deeply committed to providing a safe and supportive space where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to grow and manifest positive changes that lead to a more meaningful life.

If you’re ready to reclaim your voice and feel more connected to yourself, I’d love to connect. I welcome you to reach out for a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

I am here whenever you feel ready to get started

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

The frequency of our sessions is tailored to meet your unique needs, and this is something we will discuss during our initial consultation. To build consistency and promote therapeutic progress, we typically suggest starting with weekly or bi-weekly sessions. As we progress together, we can adjust the frequency of your sessions.

The length of therapy can vary from person to person, as each individual’s journey is unique. How long it lasts depends on what you’re working through, what you hope to get out of it, and how things progress over time. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others choose to continue for longer to explore things more deeply. There’s no right or wrong pace—we’ll move in a way that feels comfortable for you. Along the way, we’ll check in together to make sure therapy is meeting your needs and supporting your goals.

We do not directly handle insurance billing. However, we issue invoice receipts with the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Invoice receipts are sent to your email immediately after each session.

It’s worth checking with your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan to see if you are covered for the designation of “Registered Psychotherapist” or “Counsellor”.

Therapy may be offered on a sliding scale or at a reduced rate. These spots are dependent on availability. Please reach out to us to discuss low-cost therapy further.

No, at the moment we solely provide virtual therapy. However, we are searching for an office for in-person sessions in the Greater Moncton Area. Stay tuned.

Yes. Your privacy is important, and what you share in therapy stays confidential.

The only exceptions are situations where there’s a serious risk of harm, legal obligations involving serious crimes, a court order, or threats to public health or national security. Even in these situations, I’ll aim to discuss it with you first whenever possible.

We do not offer diagnostic or formal assessment services.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed appointment leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.
